My Lord,
I have the honour to inform Your Lordship that I have recently received an application from the lessee of Farm Lot 48, Wong Nei Chong, for permission to convert this lot, containing an area of 151,219 square feet, into m Inland Lot in order that he may lay it out for building sites.

I consider it desirable to facilitate the development of this district and I therefore recommend that, subject to the surrender of such lot to Government, sanction be given for a regrant of the portion shom coloured red on the accompanying plan as an Inland Lot without auction subject to the following terms:-
(a). The lessee to surrender the existing Crown Lease of
Farm Lot 48 shem edged neutral tint on plan attach- -ed when required by the Land Officer. A sum of
$2,300.00 in payment thereof to be deducted from the amount of premium payable as stipulated in (c). (b). The lessee to be granted a Crown Lease for the area
coloured red on plan attached, containing an area of about 90,000 square feet for a term of 75 years, renewable for a further term of 75 years at a re- -assessed Crow Rent.
(c). Premium, $23,300.00 for the area coloured red on
plan to be paid into the Colonial Treasury within seven days of the date of a letter signed by the
